8x12” Giclee print on canvas

Artist Statement

“I was fortunate over the last 3 years to see Takaya once in my travels." At that time his solitude impacted me. I was deeply saddened to hear about him being moved from his home and brought into the Victoria area, which led to his subsequent demise.

I contacted Cheryl and asked if I could use several of her photographs to create the piece here. She graciously agreed and this is how his piece came to be.”

Artist Bio

Jordan is a nature and wildlife artist/photographer. Jordan grew up in Alberta, surrounded by the wild beauty of the prairies and the ruggedness of the Rockies, and developed an artistic style influenced by these settings. Jordan also enjoys working on portraits and graphic design.
