“Having been captivated by Takaya’s story after watching Cheryl’s documentary and equally heartbroken by his untimely death, I wanted my piece for the show to portray a tranquil moment in Takaya’s too short life, capturing him at peace in his wilderness.”

Jonathan Woodward is an award winning wildlife illustrator, specialising in both a traditional and digital cut paper collage. Working primarily in publishing, having illustrated over 20 wildlife non-fiction books for children, along with work for conservation organisations, puzzle companies, zoos and aquariums.
