"Takaya the Lone Wolf" by Yuliya Aurelius Whitewolf

from CA$48.00

Artist Statement

“I was touched by the story of Takaya and found him to be a kindred spirit. In him I recognized myself and had the urge to capture his soul in moment of time, on paper. I also could not believe the fact that humans still practise hunting of those magnificent beings and find it appalling that without actual need to hunt for food, a human hunts for pleasure. I know that Takaya and his story must be heard by enough people to finally be a real catalyst for change. I hope it is not wishful thinking. I put my piece of the puzzle in the story by willing freedom and rights for the wolves into reality.”

Artist Bio

Yuliya is self taught in the arts. She has loved to sketch all things that caught the eye since it was possible for her to hold a pencil. She primarily captures elven and alien portraits with elements of nature and space infused. Yuliya is inspired by cosmos, trees, florals, music and books, and is driven by self evolution, infinity, eternity and attainment of freedom, balance and pleasure.
