"Takaya the Lone Wolf" by Yuliya Aurelius Whitewolf

from CA$48.00

Artist Statement

“I was touched by the story of Takaya and found him to be a kindred spirit. In him I recognized myself and had the urge to capture his soul in moment of time, on paper. I also could not believe the fact that humans still practise hunting of those magnificent beings and find it appalling that without actual need to hunt for food, a human hunts for pleasure. I know that Takaya and his story must be heard by enough people to finally be a real catalyst for change. I hope it is not wishful thinking. I put my piece of the puzzle in the story by willing freedom and rights for the wolves into reality.”
